Elephant Saddle

This traditional Mongolian saddle was made with elaborately carved ivory and pure silver. The design of a saddle was carefully worked on, ancient archeological findings and historical sources, there were carved on all its parts the total of 69 dragon images in compliance with their shape, size and height. This is the first time in the world that elephant skin has been used for horse harness. This is a clear example of how Mongolians respect horses.
